DOG WEEPS AND SLEEPS OVER ITS OWNER'S GRAVE EVERY NIGHT

 

This dog below reminds me of my grandmother's dog. When my grandmother died in Adabraka Accra (1989), her favourite dog called Hope wept bitterly for about a week. He never ate from us anymore until he died. Hope was a black dog who would go and stay at the junction to my grandmother's bakery until my grandmother would close from work. Hope will then lead my grandmother into the house before he would play with us in the evening. When my grandmother had to leave home around 3am to work, Hope will run around the house, the street and two junctions to make sure it was safe for my grandma to leave home. And when she leaves, Hope will be sad throughout the day until my grandma returned. This dog  did this for ten years  with my grandma. He knew what time my grandma left the house and knew the time she would returned. I always wondered how he would calculate  time because my grandma's time was not consistent. some times, she will leave at 3a.m, 5a.m 9am and even 4pm. She herself never knew when she would complete baking and selling but the dog knew.

This dog above called Captain has done a similar thing. this Germnn Sheperd managed to find its owners grave when the owner died in 2006, since then, this dog always sleeps by its owners grave. Dogs are always my favourite. It was said that when the owner died, it wept bitterly and keeps weeping.
