Whew!! The much awaited dam is here!  It was said that engineers working on this project completed their test last week after vice P visited the scene. Now, our own Presido unofficially launched the project today which currently adds 133 megawatts to the national  grid. Overall the dam is executed to add 400megawatts after total completion. It's been estimated that the project will be completed in 2014. Hmm at least I am put to shame for doubting yesterday that the launching wouldn't happen. Weldone Presido. Bui Dam nie! Mahama nie! Good you acknowledged the poineers behind this project. From Nkrumah's time to yours. But I need to understand this, why can't a project come to a total completion before launching? And how come  I am still in darkness as I write this minute?

One thing I can attest to is that, Cuban Doctors are almost like magicians! They do know their job very well. The Cuban Charity Hospital Located in Ho, Volta  Region operated on a close friend of mine whom I stayed with at this hospital throughout. When my Friend needed to be operated on, she was put on hold at Korle-Bu teaching hospital, Accra wih the excuse that, there was a lined up operations to be done and it will take three months to get to my friends turn. I don't blame Korle-Bu doctors. There only a few qualified doctors but many patients. It was almost the same in the Volta Region. However, the Cubans in this hospital treated the cases according to order of importance, all free of charge! My friend didn't pay a dime! Plus the medicines taken was supplied to her free of charge! She was treated earlier too eventhough there was a long queue. The environment in and around the hospital was a first class clean and very hospitable. Meanwhile, at Korlebu, even though the op...
