GHANAIAN EMBASSIES ABROAD ARE COPYING FROM FOREIGN EMBASSIES IN GHANA

Those who live in the diaspora be it America, Uk, Europe or Asia, you can bear with me that the call of coming home is inevitable. Ghana and all that she has ever been to you, will beckon. what am I saying?

For those in Ghana or West Africa, you can bear with me that foreign embassies in Ghana can realy be a pain in the nerves! They use all kinds of excuses to take expensive visa fee money which they call 'nonrefundable fee' from Ghanaians or Africans. When they make enough money, they call on our governments and lend us the same money they took from us with an interest rate that will take many generations to come to repay.

As if that is not enough, most except the USA embassy who has finally provided facilites that allow applicants to sit whiles waiting to be bounced visas or granted, and may be Netheland's embassy, the rest of these embassies treat Ghanaians like trash. A typical example is the Spanish Embassy or the Italian embassy where visa applicants have to sit on pavements by refuse dump in the sun waiting to receive service through some small window that can only accommodate your hands. After the hassle of gathering various kinds of documents, one has to go through this despicable treatment at the embassy, wait for weeks or months in anguish and panics  only to be bounced or refused visa.Visa rule can even change without notice.

However, people abroad, do not suffer to obtain visa to Ghana. All they need to do is either post their applications or present in person, pay only a small fee and wait for maximum of three days only to be granted visa into the country.

Ghanaian embassy in Spain have unfortunately copied this   despicable treatment to their fellow Ghanaians who want to come home. Ghanaians abroad who rather are building up Ghana, providing for their families, having houses and other properties  have to go through hassle to return home in recent times. I heard a victim talking on Asempa FM station few minutes ago who said, evethough they have proof that they are Ghanaians, the embassy had to ask them to provide bank statement in Spain, get invitation letters from Ghana and go through the same difficult situation they went through before travelling. For your information Ghana embassy, the document of these Ghanaian migrants are here in Ghana, how do you expect them to show you proof? What is in Ghana to protect Ghana from? the corrupt leaders? the hardship? or what? These migrants have to also stay out sitting in the cold waiting for a visa to their own country. Why do you copy blindly Ghana?
Do USA or UK citizens need visa in their passports to return to their home country?

Why does Ghana always have to copy some lowly tyrants and dictators of our world or better still why do you copy those western 'powers' who are bonded to their hypicrisy, double standards and greed? Comment below
