MAKOLA MARKET ON FIRE
Last Sunday dorn we heard of Kantamanto market on fire that burnt a lot of shops and goods.
Just last night Makola Market, the part behind the STC yard around Tudu also started burning.oh what a shock!
If not the intervention of some service personnel, we would not have heard good news this morning. Fire Service was at the scene to salvage the situation. The fire was put out early so the damage was very minimal.
I still keep saying that it's some mad person out there causing this. Whatever or whoever it is, I hope investigators will grab that individual, group or find the cause.
I will suggest to government to get secret CCTVs and position them at strategic points in all these prime areas in the country. It's only in Ghana that I see CCTV inside premises when outside surveillance is as important as the inside. Even Banks, corporate entities who should know best do not have CCTVs covering their own area like say 500yards from their main entrance. What a pity.
